CILICIA, Flaviopolis-Flavias. Orbiana. Augusta, AD 225-227. Æ (26mm, 11.71 g, 12h). Dated CY 153 (AD 225/6). Draped bust right / Herakles standing right, holding club and apple, lion skin draped over arm; Γ-N/P (date) across field. SNG France -; SNG Levante 1551 (same dies). VF, dark green patina under a thick earthen layer.


Levante does not mention an object in Hercules’ out-stretched hand, but it is probably intended to be an apple of the Hesperides.
